DotA 2: Meepo, the Geomancer Guide

One of the best agility heroes in DotA 2 is undoubtedly Meepo, the Geomancer. He possesses an ungodly skill of being able to split into three, making him a great carry within the game. He is so good that he is nicknamed “Meepwn” by the DotA community. The best thing to do first in a lane is to lay low as your HP and attack prowess are still pretty weak in lower levels. However, once you hit level 6, you can roam easily with your clone and be more proactive in ganking with his great nukes and binds. He is also very flexible, with a tanky build being viable as well by many in the community. (more…)

Every time the DotA 2 team changes something with a patch, game styles will have to change dramatically. However, for the patch of 27th September, there will not be much changes to the game engine or additions of heroes into the arena. Nonetheless each patch brings forth a better and less buggier DotA 2, which is ultimately good for everyone.

Alchemist: Hero traits and Strategy

Alchemist is quite a different hero known for combat. His base attack time takes a downward spiral to the lowest seen in DOTA 2 (down from normal 1.7 to 1.15), which enables Alchemist to have the fiercest attack speed. It is best to give the best attack speed items to Alchemist in order to have a better effect on him on account of the low BAT. Playing with Alchemist will require a good deal of skill. He boasts of o escape tactics along with other traits that may cause him more harm if not utilized the right way. Hence, it is not surprising to see him have the least percentage of winning among all heroes. (more…)

DOTA 2 competitions were the talk of the online gaming world but the ultimate prize of million dollars went to Invictus Gaming, a group of expert gamers from China. They won the Grand Final of the International 2012 tournament that was held over three days, August 31 to Sep 2, which showcased the best DOTA 2 gamers from around the world. (more…)
